Pet Portraits

Much-loved pets come in all shapes and sizes, and every pet is unique not only to the owner but also to the artist. For example, even in the same breed one springer spaniel will be quite different from another.

I have tended to paint pets in watercolour as the medium which best captures their colour and texture, but I have found oils to work well on larger animals such as horses.

I also offer portraits of people, buildings and flowers. Commissioning a portrait of a pet, loved one, or building of significance makes for a unique gift.

I can work from a good quality photograph of your pet.
